What we are here for

We've been here exactly 6 months, and it has become a routine. He is constantly leading the conversations that we have. I attempt to always stay aware of the openings in those times and yet I have to remind myself that little is much. After all this time here, I have had so many great conversation about Him but I never had the opportunity to see anyone come to Him. Until this past Saturday.

It was Saturday morning worship time at our coordinators home. Few students usually show up. But there are always about 4 students who keep coming back. We always make sure to talk to one of those people afterwards. That particular day i was not in the mood. i was feeling just blah from the school week. None the less i felt Him nudging me to talk to a girl named Sam. I brushed it off. Saying to Him...

" I only talked to her once before. I don't think that's what you want.."

Well, well, well, i was TOTALLY wrong.

After that we had refreshments and Sam came up to me! In that moment I thought...

"ok, I'm listening. Guide my conversation even if my heart isn't in the right place, use me in this moment."

Oh man! did he ever. Just as I have in conversations before, I let the HS lead it to Him. It felt like every other time I talked about Him, and i prepared myself for her to walk away questioning but not believing. After i explained how a person becomes a Believer, she paused, and then she looked at me and said she wanted in. I was in shock. After 6 months of pouring out into these students, someone I barely knew was asking me to help her into the family. I took her aside and prayed with her. Everything was in Chinese but i didn't care. I kept my eyes locked with hers, her hands in mine. I started to cry. she kept on praying. At the end she hugged me. Then I realized I gained a Sister. I felt so unworthy to have been apart of such a precious process. How beautiful Sam had become. She kept telling me over and over again how free she felt, how wonderful everything suddenly had become, and most of all the peace she felt in her heart. I started to cry again and I told her..
" Thats the beauty of Him... How cool is that?"
" very cool, its great." she replied.

Little is much, and I realized that day that I will never understand just how far the little bits can really go.
